CLIN NURSE 2 - Labor and Delivery - Nights - FT - Fountain Valley

Position Summary A Labor and Delivery Nurse is responsible for the care of labor patients before, during and after delivery, newborn care immediately following birth, and outpatient visits to Labor & Delivery. The nurse monitors fetal status, communicates with physicians, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex cases. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients and newborns. Conduct fetal monitoring and interpret results. Circulate and recover patients during Cesarean sections. Manage complex medical cases and coordinate care with other team members. Required Qualifications BSN in Nursing (minimum). Active RN license in California. California state licensure. Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NRP. Minimum one year recent Labor & Delivery experience. Excellent customer service, communication, and teamwork skills. Maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of university and medical center policies and procedures.
