Lab Technician – Owensboro KY The Lab Technician provides essential support in our facility by conducting tests, analyzing samples, and maintaining laboratory equipment. Day to Day Perform necessary calculations on analytical results. Responsible for sample preparation, preparation of solutions and extractions. Responsible for routine moisture, pH, and water activity of tobacco samples, tobacco-derived nicotine samples, and finished products. Responsible for clean glassware and related supplies, disposal of hazardous waste, and cleanliness of the laboratory. Provide support to other employees in the Analytical Lab. Responsible for accurate record keeping and data entry. Provide support to Production, R&D, Quality Assurance and Leaf Operations. Qualifications Minimum High School diploma with courses in scientific disciplines such as Chemistry, Biology, or related disciplines. One year Laboratory Technician experience preferred or comparable position/experience. Knowledgeable in Analytical Chemistry and basic laboratory procedures. Able to organize and utilize time, review, interpret, and report analytical results. Annual Base Salary: $49,140. Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (required).
