Part Time Deli Bakery Clerk

Responsibilities This is a part time position. Primary responsibility is to Take Excellent Care Of Our Customers by satisfying each customer’s needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires a defined level of product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with fellow associates to create an incredible place to work and shop. Responsible for preparing, processing, packaging, and stocking products according to Fresh Foods Standards. Also responsible for providing customer service, cleaning work areas, unloading stock, and reloading salvage products according to Fresh Foods Standards. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Willingness to participate in and successfully complete required training and to work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales. High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and comprehend simple English instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple English correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to customers and colleagues who only speak English. Ability to add and subtract two‑digit numbers and perform operations with U.S. money and weight measurements. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions and handle problems with a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Complete Company training including new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and product knowledge. Must routinely stand, walk, use hands, reach with arms, talk or hear, taste or smell; occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel or crouch; regularly lift or move up to 30 pounds (occasionally 50 pounds), reach 6‑72 inches; possess close vision, color, and depth perception.
