Construction Foreman Location: New Holland, PA Monday-Friday 6am-230pm $28-$33hr Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Foreman to oversee modular and commercial construction projects within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This leadership role is responsible for managing daily operations, directing crews and subcontractors, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong construction knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive projects from planning through completion while meeting schedule, quality, and budget objectives. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews and subcontractors. Assign work based on project priorities, workforce capabilities, and production schedules. Train, mentor, and develop employees to improve performance and craftsmanship. Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work culture. Project Execution Lead the implementation of construction plans and production schedules. Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to meet project milestones. Participate in project planning meetings and proactively identify solutions to keep projects on track. Monitor productivity and ensure efficient use of resources. Quality Assurance & Compliance Review and verify all work against project drawings, specifications, and applicable building codes. Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship meets company and customer standards. Identify and address quality concerns before they impact project schedules or budgets. Maintain accurate documentation and project records. Safety Leadership Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across all job sites and production areas. Conduct toolbox talks and safety meetings. Identify and mitigate potential hazards. Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas. Coordination & Communication Serve as the primary point of contact between field crews, subcontractors, and project management. Coordinate subcontractor activities to align with project schedules and milestones. Communicate project updates, challenges, and progress to leadership. Foster strong working relationships with team members, vendors, and trade partners. Qualifications Experience & Education Minimum 5 years of construction experience in residential, commercial, modular, or industrial construction. At least 2 years of supervisory or foreman-level experience preferred. High School Diploma or GED required. Technical training or construction-related certifications are a plus. Technical Skills Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and construction specifications. Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methods, and quality standards. Proficiency in construction mathematics, including geometry and trigonometry. Ability to visualize and execute complex construction details accurately. Experience using construction management software and reporting tools is preferred. Leadership Skills Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop construction teams. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a deadline-driven environment. Effective communication and conflict-resolution abilities. Physical & Travel Requirements Ability to work in manufacturing facilities and outdoor construction environments in varying weather conditions. Comfortable working in noisy and physically demanding settings. Willingness to travel and stay overnight when project demands require. Ability to lift, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods.
