Tri-City Chili Peppers Ticket Sales Leadership PositionThe Tri-City Chili Peppers are looking for an eager candidate that wants to provide leadership for ticket sales. The Chili Peppers are the HOTTEST team in the Coastal Plain League, a summer wood-bat baseball league with teams in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. As the innovators of Cosmic Baseball, our team plays from mid-May through early August with 30+ home games at Shepherd Stadium in Colonial Heights, VA. We employ a small full-time staff so part-time seasonal employees and interns will perform integral duties and gain valuable professional experience and knowledge.Group OutingsProvide leadership for coordinating group outings and ticket sales to groupsComplete outbound sales calls to businesses, churches, sports teams, community organizations and nonprofits to schedule group outingsSet up meetings with businesses and organizations to build relationshipsSet appointments with key decision makers in the community to assess the opportunity to develop and grow opportunitiesResponsible for the growth of existing relationships in order for the client to maximize spend and generate repeat business Utilize current and crew new group outing packages to meet customer needsTicket SalesCoordinate and execute ticket sales outreach to potential clients through cold calling, prospecting, referrals from current customers, and meetingsUpdate ticketing platform and CRM with notes regarding customer interactionsVisit current customers in game to maintain positive service relationshipAttend community events to promote the Chili Peppers and ticket opportunitiesOverallBe a positive and professional member of the Chili Peppers professional staffOffer ideas to help the organization address new challengesMaintain a professional relationship with interns at all timesBe a team player and assist others as need be or asked toHours9am-5pm Monday-Friday in person at Shepherd Stadium (901 Meridian Ave Colonial Heights, VA 23834)As preparation for the season picks up, hours outside of 9am-5pm and over the weekend will be requiredDuring the season, evening, night and weekend hours will be required based on the game schedule, tour needs, community events, special projects, and moreSalary$35,000 plus commission 3-5%Option to participate in Healthcare PlanOption to participate in 401kWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
