Registered Nurse - Cath Lab

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 4x10-hour work schedule (08:00 - 18:00).

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will have experience in both diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations along with a strong ability to monitor and manage procedural sedation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations.
• Monitor patients during procedural sedation, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Provide care for patients undergoing left and right heart catheterizations.
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Utilize telemetry assessment skills to identify arrhythmias and respond appropriately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a Cath Lab.
• Valid NY State Registered Nurse License.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations.
