Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with an ASAP start date
• 12-hour day shifts from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Possibility for on-call shifts, though rare, and would be requested in advance
• No float requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; Trauma Level II experience required
• Prior travel experience preferred; if no prior travel experience, 2 years of Trauma Level I or II experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Pyxis medication dispenser used on unit
• RNs are responsible for drawing labs, performing nebulizer treatments, and managing 3-4 patients per nurse
• Unit is a fast-paced, 18-bed Trauma Level II emergency department with stroke certification, serving cardiac, neuro, pediatric, geriatric, and respiratory patients
• Respiratory therapy and X-ray staff available on-site in the ED
• Associate degree or certificate required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (ARC or AHA)
• Scrub color: Any color permitted

This facility is a Trauma Level II hospital featuring an 18-bed emergency department that is stroke certified and equipped to handle a wide range of complex cases including cardiac, neurological, pediatric, geriatric, and respiratory conditions. The emergency department operates at a fast pace and is supported by in-house laboratory services, on-site respiratory therapy, and X-ray staff, providing a comprehensive and well-resourced environment for emergency care professionals.
