Role Overview

Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Investment Screening Specialists .

This is not a traditional employment role . Investment Screening Specialists operate as independent contractors and are activated through Initio Sphere’s certification and verification process.

Once approved, specialists:

• Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

• Gain access to real, paid deal screening and evaluation work

• Support investors, fund managers, and operators by screening inbound transactions

• Build a verified deal screening track record and Analyst Rating Score

Certification tiers:
Senior Investment Screening Specialist · Lead Investment Screening Specialist · Investment Screening Specialist / Associate

Analyst Levels & Pay Ranges Senior Investment Screening Specialist

• Rating Score: 90–100

• Pay: $150–200/hour

• Typical Background:
  Former investment banking, private equity, venture capital, asset management, or senior consulting professionals with 5+ years of transaction or investment selection experience

Lead Investment Screening Specialist

• Rating Score: 80–89

• Pay: $100–150/hour

• Typical Background:
  Finance professionals with 3–5 years of deal evaluation, underwriting, or investment analysis experience

Investment Screening Specialist / Associate

• Rating Score: 60–79

• Pay: $50–100/hour

• Typical Background:
  Entry to mid-level analysts with strong analytical skills and exposure to private market investments

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Depending on certification approvals, Investment Screening Specialists may be engaged to:

Deal Screening & Triage

• Screen inbound investment opportunities against mandate, strategy, and risk criteria

• Evaluate headline economics, return potential, and capital requirements

• Identify early red flags, structural issues, and misalignment with investor objectives

• Prioritize opportunities for deeper diligence or rejection

Initial Financial & Market Review

• Review high-level financials, KPIs, and operating metrics

• Assess preliminary valuation expectations and return drivers

• Review market positioning, competitive dynamics, and scalability

• Provide summary screening notes and recommendations

Investment Readiness Support

• Prepare initial screening summaries and scorecards

• Support investment teams with go / no-go recommendations

• Coordinate handoff of qualified opportunities to diligence or execution teams

Note: Specialists may only perform work in categories they are specifically approved for. Approvals are earned through assessment and demonstrated performance—not tenure.

How Specialists Start Earning

1. Complete the Investment Screening Specialist Certification Assessment or approved training

2. Receive category-specific approvals (Deal Screening, Initial Financial Review, Risk Triage)

3. Get verified on the Initio Sphere platform

4. Begin earning immediately through hourly screening assignments and live deal flow

No cold applying. No unpaid “experience.”
Verified specialists are actively promoted to investors and fund managers.

Certification & Eligibility

To qualify, you must meet at least one of the following:

• Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Certification Assessment

• Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training

• Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)

Analyst Rating Score

Each Investment Screening Specialist receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score , which determines:

• Platform visibility

• Approved screening categories

• Recommended hourly rates

Scores are based on screening accuracy, judgment quality, efficiency, and compliance.

Compensation & Deal Terms

• Specialists are independent contractors , not employees

• Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level

• Specialists may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees

• Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction

• Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection

• Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality or compliance issues

Compliance Notice

Investment Screening Specialists do not :

• Provide investment advice

• Solicit or sell securities

• Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated or fiduciary capacity

All work is strictly limited to deal screening, preliminary analysis, and investment support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.
