Description:

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed medical history, physical examinations, and functional assessments, to determine the most appropriate and effective treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based physical therapy treatment programs that address patients' specific needs, goals, and limitations, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Provide skilled manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, modalities (such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy), and patient education to optimize recovery and prevent future injury.
• Accurately document patient progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records, adhering to all professional and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and strategies for maintaining long-term wellness and functional independence.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Education:

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited physical therapy program.

Certifications:

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Specialty certifications (e.g., Orthopedic Certified Specialist, Sports Certified Specialist) are a plus.
