Remote Senior Golang Engineer

Salary: $123,000 - 163,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• We look for 7+ years of backend software development experience.
• We require 3+ years of hands-on development experience with Go (Golang).
• We need strong expertise with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL, including schema design, query tuning, and performance optimization.
• We expect experience designing and building REST APIs and distributed services.
• We require experience with Docker and containerized application deployment.
• We look for experience in Agile environments and modern CI/CD practices.
• We expect a solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• We require proficiency in one or more additional backend languages such as Java, C#, .NET, Rust, or similar.
• We value excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Preferred: experience with microservices architectures, ORM frameworks, cloud platforms, third-party API integrations, and AI-assisted development tools.

• We design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services.
• We build and improve RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures.
• We design and refine database schemas, queries, and data structures to improve performance and scalability.
• We troubleshoot, refactor, and enhance application performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• We develop and deploy containerized applications using modern cloud-native practices.
• We collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• We participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• We support production environments and help resolve complex technical issues.
