Regional HR Manager

Vaco has an exciting opportunity for a Regional HR Manager in Baltimore, Maryland. This is a direct hire role that sits 100% onsite with 25% travel. About the RoleA leading provider of transportation, logistics, and cargo-handling services is seeking a Regional Human Resources Manager to support a multi-site operation across several U.S. locations. This position will provide both strategic and hands-on HR leadership in a fast-paced, unionized environment, overseeing the full employee lifecycle, labor relations, compliance, payroll coordination, workforce planning, and employee engagement initiatives.Required Qualifications5 years of progressive Human Resources management experience3–5 years of experience in unionized environments, including labor relations and union dues administration (required)Experience with HRIS and payroll systemsStrong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance requirementsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)Ability to obtain industry-required credentials and site access certificationsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldExperience supporting transportation, logistics, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial operationsProfessional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or equivalentIdeal Candidate ProfileDemonstrated, hands-on labor relations experience, including grievance management, collective bargaining agreement interpretation, union communication, and contract administrationComfortable serving as the primary HR leader for multiple locations with significant day-to-day operational involvementWilling to work onsite and travel regularly to support regional facilitiesAvailable to start within a short timeframe Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
