Registration Specialist II - Emergency Department Branson

Facility: Cox Medical Center Branson– 525 Branson Landing Blvd., Branson, Missouri, United States of America, 65616. Department: Patient Registration. Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00a.m. – 6:30p.m. Hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: Day Shift. Job Responsibilities Assist patients during the on‑site registration and arrival process for scheduled and unscheduled visits. Collect accurate demographic information, insurance information, and handle patient financial obligations at the time of service. Perform financial clearance functions on scheduled accounts during registration downtimes. Greet and serve patients and internal team members in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner to promote positive encounters. Travel from site to site and work extended hours as required by business needs of the department. Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent (required). Experience At least 1‑2 years of prior registration experience (preferred). Skills Proficient in using computers and computer systems. Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with the public and co‑workers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
