Our team of trusted midwives, OB-GYNs, and care navigators serve a diverse community. Oula, provided by Stamford Health, is opening a new practice location in Norwalk, with plans for additional locations. This is an exciting full-time opportunity for a Certified Nurse Midwife passionate about improving patient-centric maternity care. You will deliver full-spectrum perinatal & GYN care and help shape the Stamford Health/Oula collaborative clinical care model. Overnight rotational call required, including weekends and holidays. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities include: Providing full-scope maternity (labor, birth, postpartum) and GYN care at Norwalk clinic and Stamford Hospital Managing patients throughout pregnancy, working with interdisciplinary teams, establishing care eligibility, communicating effectively, conducting consultations, and transferring care as needed Ensuring clear communication with patients during and between appointments Contributing to clinical protocol development for midwife-OBGYN collaboration Supporting resident training on midwifery and collaborative care guidelines Qualifications Active LM licensure in Connecticut Certified by AMCB as a Nurse-Midwife Minimum five years of post-graduate clinical midwife experience in hospital labor/delivery and low acuity maternity/GYN care About Stamford Health: In March 2024, Stamford Health unveiled new maternity and labor/delivery units, recognized as high performing for maternity care by US News & World Report.
