Job Title: Painter
We are hiring a full-time Painter to perform interior and exterior painting duties, including patching drywall, prepping surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring a high-quality finish. This role requires a skilled and detail-oriented individual experienced in painting a variety of surfaces, drywall repair work and baseboard installation.
This position will be responsible for painting interior and exterior surfaces in apartments and common areas. This includes preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring a high-quality finish that meets our standards.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming
- Apply paint using various techniques, including brushes, rollers, and sprayers
- Perform touch-up painting and repairs as needed
- Install baseboards as needed
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment
- Work effectively with other maintenance staff and contractors
- Adhere to safety regulations and procedures
- Maintain a neat and organized work area
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a painter, preferably in residential or apartment setting
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques and materials
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Salary: up to $30.00 per hour (depends on experience) with an excellent benefits package that includes: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k and the opportunity to continue your education through our scholarship program!
Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. May require weekend flexibility.
Offer of employment is contingent upon successful fingerprint clearance through Department of Justice, physical exam, TB and drug and alcohol screening.
