This role requires expertise in handling therapeutic endoscopy devices, assisting physicians and nurses in high-acuity cases, and maintaining strict adherence to infection control and patient safety standards. The technician serves as a vital member of the GI team, contributing to quality patient outcomes and operational excellence.Job Title: Endoscopy Technician IIMinimum Education Level: High School Diploma/GEDMinimum Field of Study:Minimum Education Notes:Preferred Education Level:Preferred Field of Study:Preferred Education Notes:Licensure Certification Needed: YesMinimum Licensure: Basic Life Support (BLS)Minimum Licensure (Other):Training Required: Demonstrated proficiency in advanced procedures (ERCP, EUS, EMR, stent placement).Strong knowledge of GI anatomy, endoscopic devices, and therapeutic techniques.Experience with endoscope reprocessing, high level disinfection methods, and troubleshooting complex equipment.Proven experience in supply management or inventory control within a clinical setting.Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure clinical environments.Salary Range$18.64 - $28.53Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role.
