Back End Developer

We are seeking highly skilled and passionate Back‑End Developers to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Back‑End Developer you will be responsible for creating and maintaining efficient and reliable server‑side applications that power our website and mobile applications. You will work closely with our front‑end developers to ensure seamless integration of user‑facing elements with server‑side logic. This position offers a competitive salary of $1,500 and the opportunity for growth within the company. Accommodation may be provided for non‑local candidates. Responsibilities Designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining server‑side applications. Collaborating with front‑end developers to integrate user‑facing elements into applications. Creating database schemas that represent business processes and requirements. Developing efficient APIs for communication between server‑side code and client‑side interfaces. Ensuring high performance, scalability, and availability of server‑side applications through optimization techniques and monitoring tools. Evaluating existing systems for improvements or updates. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to define new features. Staying up‑to‑date with emerging trends in back‑end development. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Proven experience as a Back‑End Developer or a similar role. Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby on Rails. Experience with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB. Knowledge of web servers such as Apache or Nginx. Familiarity with front‑end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with API integration and third‑party libraries. Good understanding of security principles and data protection. Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud. Understanding of microservice architecture. Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools. Experience with agile development methodologies.
