Competitive Compensation & Benefits You May Be Eligible For: Competitive compensation package Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement savings plans (403(b) and 457) Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligibility Short- and long-term disability coverage Malpractice coverage Generous paid time off and CME support Requirements Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program Current Michigan Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license (or ability to obtain) National board certification appropriate to specialty and licensure DEA registration (or ability to obtain) Current BLS and ACLS certifications Prior experience in Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep Medicine, Hospital Medicine, or a related specialty preferred Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient management skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care Duties & Responsibilities A typical day may include: Evaluating and managing patients in the Intensive Care Unit in collaboration with Pulmonary/Critical Care physicians Conducting inpatient pulmonary consultations and follow-up visits Providing outpatient pulmonary and sleep medicine care, including new patient evaluations and follow-up appointments Assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for patients with pulmonary and sleep disorders Interpreting diagnostic testing, including pulmonary function tests and sleep study results, as appropriate Performing procedures consistent with APP training, credentialing, and organizational policies Documenting patient encounters and care plans in Epic EMR Collaborating with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and ancillary staff to coordinate patient care Participating in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects Educating patients and families regarding disease management, treatment plans, and preventive care Supporting clinical programs focused on lung cancer screening, lung nodule management, and pulmonary disease management #J-18808-Ljbffr Trinity Health
