Jr. Project Manager

Summary of Position: The Project Manager will develop project plans, develop and manage timelines, and identify and respond to critical path barriers. The role will require significant collaboration across internal and external functions to ensure on-time release of final product. The role is required to work in a cross-functional and dynamic setting where project assumptions and scenarios may change and therefore requires an individual who can quickly adapt to the changes and manage communications at different levels in the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance in projects
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, ensuring timely completion of tasks
  • Identify potential risks and devise mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment
  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders
  • Ensure documentation of all project-related activities for auditing purposes
  • Continually monitor changes and implement necessary modifications
  • Partner with stakeholders to perform impact analysis, define requirements, create operating models, and ensure all risks & issues are documented and escalated within the appropriate governance channels

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in project management analysis functions in the Finance industry
  • Knowledge on Equity back office, must be familiar with products traded on Equity markets.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certification preferred
