The team relies on the expertise within the seele group and therefore covers the entire spectrum of consulting, planning, production and installation. To strengthen our team in the area of procurement at our location in New York, we are looking for a Procurement Agent. Your tasks Procurement of construction services and materials from subcontractors and suppliers for high-end glazing and curtain wall projects, ensuring alignment with technical, commercial and scheduling requirements Conduct commercial and technical evaluations of subcontractor and supplier proposals Negotiate pricing, contracts and commercial terms to achieve optimal value and manage ongoing supplier and subcontractor relationship throughout the project lifecycle Commercial contract and purchase related claim management Assisting in selection, evaluation, qualification and development of vendors Manage deliveries, ensuring timely logistics, invoicing and payments to subcontractors until final close-out Your profile Undergraduate degree in civil engineering/materials management or other related discipline 2+ years of progressive experience in procurement, preferably with metals and glazing contractor Entrepreneurial mindset Established experience in negotiating with suppliers and drafting contracts Excellent communications and organizational skills Solid IT skills in MS Office, SAGE 100 Contractor We offer Salary range $66,500 - $75,000 per year State-of-the-art workplaces Corporate health, dental and vision insurance and 401(k) plan contribution for the employee Excellent development and training opportunities Exciting international projects with varied responsibilities, a strong team spirit and regular social events. seele, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
