Pay Range : $20 – $30 per hour (Based on Experience)
Employment Type : Full-Time

Position Summary

The Service Lead Electrician is responsible for performing skilled electrical work in service, maintenance, and repair environments while providing on-site leadership and direction to team members. This role serves as the primary point of contact on service jobs, ensuring quality workmanship, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in residential and/or commercial environments
• Lead and support service crew members on job sites, ensuring work is completed efficiently and correctly
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding scope of work, timelines, and solutions
• Perform service calls, including emergency response, in a timely and professional manner
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with safety standards and company expectations
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on jobs
• Ensure proper use and care of tools, equipment, and company vehicles
• Promote and enforce company safety policies and procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and code requirements
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Proven problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to lead small teams and work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical service experience (residential, commercial, industrial)
• Prior leadership or crew lead experience preferred
• Relevant electrical certifications or licensing (if applicable by state/local requirements)

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Must be able to lift, climb, and work in various environments (heights, confined spaces, outdoors)
• Valid Driver's License
