Veterinary Technician

Applicants must have a strong work ethic, a positive personality, capable of communicating effectively, be able to multi-task efficiently in a fast paced environment, have the ability to work in harmony with a team, possess or be willing to learn a well-rounded technical skill set, and have a passion for delivering exceptional care to equine patients as well as clients. Applicants must have horse handling skills and be comfortable working with and around horses. Responsibilities Assist the veterinarian during appointments and use veterinary software for documenting lab results Obtain and process laboratory samples Perform diagnostic imaging Prep patients for and assist in surgery Administer vaccines and medications (oral, topical, injectable) Fill prescriptions and review directions with clients Provide compassionate patient care Willing to work a rotating after hours/ weekend on call schedule Keep all areas of the hospital and vet trucks clean and organized Have reliable transportation Benefits We’re dedicated to your well-being and offer a comprehensive package and professional development opportunities to support your work and home life.
