Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments that inform customized treatment plans aimed at addressing a wide range of mental health concerns.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective interventions based on individual client needs.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records abiding by HIPAA regulations, ensuring that all patient information is safeguarded and accessible for care continuity.

• Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide coordinated care and enhance treatment outcomes.

• Engage in regular case consultations and peer review meetings, contributing to continuous improvement in the quality of care and adherence to best practices.

• Provide educational workshops and resources to patients and their families, enhancing their understanding of mental health issues and available support services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with terminally ill patients and their families, helping them navigate the emotional challenges associated with end-of-life care. You will be responsible for fostering a compassionate and supportive atmosphere that prioritizes the mental health needs of patients while guiding their loved ones through difficult transitions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of three years professional experience in a clinical setting, specifically focused on providing psychotherapy services.
