Dental Hygienist AssistantHealth Advocates Network is currently seeking a Dental Hygienist Assistant to work at a facility in Fredericksburg, VA.Pay Rate: $32 / hourJob ResponsibilitiesAs a Dental Hygiene Assistant, you are an integral part of the care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional care in a supportive, friendly environment with opportunities for professional growth.Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization.Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment progress.Update patient health history and chart treatment progress.Expose and develop radiographs (if certified).Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.Coordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments.Support the hygienist with patient scheduling and treatment recommendations and office recall systems.Perform routine tasks while ensuring compliance with the industry regulations including HIPAA & OSHA.SkillsRequired Skills & Experience:Candidates must have at least Six Months of hands-on experience as a Dental Assistant Or Dental Hygiene Assistant Or in a Dental Assistant Internship to be considered.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort.Preferred Skills & Experience:N/AEducationRequired Education: High school diploma or GED.Preferred Education: Associate's Degree or certification in Dental Assisting (preferred but not required).Certifications & LicensureRequired Certifications & Licensure: X-Ray certification. 6 months experience.Preferred Certifications & Licensure: Dental Assistant CertificationIf interested, please apply through this job post.
