Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located at a healthcare facility. The RN is responsible for delivering quality patient care by following individualized care plans, supervising support staff, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The role emphasizes patient safety, safety awareness, and efficient clinical practices in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per day, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to the first shift; valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification prior to the first shift (CIRH only); minimum of 2 years bedside clinical experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Performs comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, develops individualized care plans, participates in patient education and discharge planning, maintains accurate documentation, and ensures continuity of care through effective communication. Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, supervises ancillary personnel, and adheres to safety policies. Takes charge responsibilities following orientation and actively pursues professional development. Prioritizes patient needs and manages time effectively.
