Senior Software DeveloperSunrise Futures is looking to hire a highly talented Senior Software Developer to join our technology team.The Role:Working collaboratively with the technology and business teams on our trading and research platformsDesigning and implementing high quality software solutions used for algorithmic trading, exchange connectivity, and researchExploring and working with industry leading hardware and softwareWorking alongside industry experts in the fields of technology and financeLead/mentor junior team membersTaking ownership of and leading projects from start to finish including design, roll out, and testingWorking on challenging and dynamic problems in a team atmosphereThe Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field5+ years of experience in software developmentSolid programming skills and strong understanding of general programming concepts such as OOP, data structures, and multi-threadingExperience with C++ or a similar languageProblem solvers who are driven, self-motivated, and "outside of the box" thinkersMotivated, dependable, and responsible team playersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be willing to take ownership and lead othersThe Company:At Sunrise Futures, we bring science to trading.
