Your Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting thorough patient assessments, ordering required diagnostic tests, and designing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses either in collaboration with physicians or independently as per your credentialing
• Providing education to patients and their families around wellness, preventive measures, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing necessary medications and therapies within your practice scope
• Engaging in comprehensive patient follow-up and management of chronic conditions

Education Background Needed

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Required

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or specialty equivalent
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or the capability to attain them within 90 days
