Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position in a short-term acute care facility located in an unspecified region. The role involves floating between various units such as medical, surgical, oncology, neuro, and cardiology, providing specialized patient care in a fast-paced environment. This assignment begins on 09/21/2026 and ends on 12/21/2026, requiring adherence to scheduled shift hours and operational standards. Job Details: Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid license in the appropriate state, 2 years of total experience, current BLS and ACLS certifications, NIHSS certification preferred, experience with central line care management, CVA care, feeding tube management, high flow nasal cannula, ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia management, isolation precautions/PPE, IV start and management, wound care/wound vac, use of rapid response and code teams, telemetry remote monitoring, surgical drains, nasal cannula and oxygen administration, PCA, peripheral line care, phlebotomy, and use of lift devices and ceiling lifts. Preferred Qualifications: NIHSS certification Float: Float to all medical units, renal, oncology, neuro, and cardiology units within scope to meet facility needs Additional Information: Assignments require compliance with RTO restrictions (max of 7 days). Must have MO or IL license or match permanent residence for compact states. No local candidates within 75 miles are accepted; travelers only. Orientation includes 36 hours. No RTO allowed in the first week of assignment. Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing. Modules are billable up to 16 hours and must be completed through WorkRamp prior to start. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS preferred. All certifications must be current prior to start date.
