Quality Control Inspectors

HARVARD RESOURCE SOLUTIONS is hiring 10 QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTORS for a short-term project in St. Clair, MI.You will provide support for a large automotive supplier by performing inspections of incoming and manufactured parts.POSITION TYPE: Full Time. Contract position that is expected to last a minimum of 10 weeks. Works starts on Monday, August 24, 2026. Shift begins at 7:00 AM sharp. OT to assist in catching up may be required at the start of the project.Steel toed shoes required for entry to the plant.PAY $19.00 - $22.00 per hour based on years of relevant work experience. Overtime at time and one half.Position SummaryThe Quality Inspector is responsible for performing quality checks and inspections on manufactured parts, components, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards, customer specifications, and production requirements. This position works closely with production personnel to identify defects, document inspection results, and help maintain consistent product quality.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform quality checks on finished products.Conduct inspections to verify products meet required specifications and quality standards.Inspect parts for defects, by performing simple stab checks to verify there are no obstructions.Identify and segregate nonconforming or defective materials and products.Conduct checks timely to ensure the parts keep moving down the conveyor line meeting cycle timing.Communicate quality concerns to production supervisors, Quality leadership, and other appropriate personnel.Follow established quality procedures, inspection plans, and customer requirements.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection/work area.Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Previous Quality Inspection or manufacturing experience preferred.Experience performing visual inspections is beneficial.Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.Basic math and computer skills.Ability to accurately complete inspection documentation.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team.Ability to pass a criminal check and drug screen (No THC).Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and/or walk for extended periods during the workday.Ability to frequently handle and inspect manufactured parts and components.Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive inspection activities.Ability to lift and move materials or parts as required by the position.Ability to work in a manufacturing/production environment.Preferred ExperienceAutomotive or manufacturing quality inspection experience.Experience with visual inspection and defect identification.If you are a high performer and you think the above opportunity is appropriate for you, we invite you to apply to this job and email your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io treat all resumes with strict confidentiality.
