Job Title HR People Partner - Defense Working Pattern Full-time Location Indianapolis, IN Responsibilities Partner with the leadership team to mobilize the people strategy and drive the business plan, bringing the latest people and organizational development insights. Act as a trusted coach to the leadership team in handling sensitive or complex people issues, equipping them with the right skills and behaviors to lead their teams and meet Rolls‑Royce leadership expectations. Support business problems from an organization‑development perspective, using data and tools to identify levers that maximize organizational performance. Develop effective talent and capability development plans to deliver strategic workforce plans and build an environment that supports people to be at their best. Manage local employee‑relations issues, including investigations and performance‑management plans. Deliver resourcing plans to meet business commitments. Collaborate with the broad people‑team network including the Global People Services team. Qualifications Basic Requirements Associate’s degree with 7+ years of Human Resources and/or Labor Relations experience; Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of Human Resources and/or Labor Relations experience; Master’s degree with 3+ years of Human Resources and/or Labor Relations experience; JD/PhD; 9+ years of Human Resources and/or Labor Relations experience in lieu of a degree. Preferred Requirements Master’s degree in Business or Human Resources. Experience using Organization Development to enhance performance. Experience operating within an HR Shared Service delivery model. Workday experience. Experience managing employee‑relations cases, talent development and enabling culture change.
