Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Wichita, KS, requiring at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience and an active KS or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a Cardiovascular Lab (Cath Lab) unit within an acute care hospital setting
• 4-bed unit staffed with 3 techs and 9 RNs on day shift, including 2 travelers
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Procedures performed include cardiac drips, angioplasty, and stenting
• Phillips Fluoroscopy equipment is used in this unit
• EMR systems used: Mac Lab and Meditech (experience preferred)
• Shift hours are 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM; no night shift

Requirements

• Active KS RN license or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or ARC accepted; no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment start)
• Minimum 1 year of recent, acute care Cath Lab RN experience required
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Mac Lab and/or Meditech EMR experience is preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• 13-week travel assignment
