Qualifications / Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in an administrative or front desk role; healthcare experience preferred (medical office assistant, clinic administrative assistant)
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities for a busy hematology clinic
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient-facing/front desk work
• Proficiency with scheduling systems and office software; experience with EHR/EMR platforms a plus
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism; knowledge of HIPAA best practices preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Manage front desk operations: greet patients and visitors, create a welcoming environment
• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments efficiently using clinic scheduling systems
• Answer phone calls and respond to patient and provider inquiries in a timely, professional manner
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with clinic policies
• Support the hematology office team with administrative tasks and workflow coordination
• Ensure the reception and waiting area remain organized and patient-ready
