Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist!

Job Description:


- Contract Guarantee: 72 Hours Biweekly on all Assignments (excludes on-call time)
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist needed in PET/CT
- Training Schedule:
- First two weeks, Monday-Friday: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- Post-training, regular schedule: 8-Hour Days, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an academic medical center
- Preferred experience with PET/CT
- ARRT (N) or CNMT certification required
- MA RT license needed if not already obtained
- BLS-AHA certification required
- Key Responsibilities:
- Venipuncture and glucometer operation
- Operation of Siemens Biograph mCT 64 and Medrad Intego automated injector
- Handling of unit doses of FDG, Posluma, Amyvid, Dotatate, Cerianna
- DICOM push of images to MIM and McKesson PACS
- Scanning of documents and screening of patients prior to exams
- Cleaning incubation rooms and camera post-patient use
- Stocking supplies in incubation room and hot lab
- Computer entry of charges for exams and verification of images on PACS
- Adherence to radiation safety principles (ALARA) and USP 825
- Additional Information:
- NO local travelers accepted (must reside 50+ miles from the facility)
- Start Date: ASAP - 4 weeks out for compliance
- Weekly orientation every Monday (except holidays)
- Interview and offer by Nuclear Medicine team
- RTO requests must be presented at the time of submission
- Travelers who have worked recently at this facility must be separated for six months
- Parking may cost up to $43/day
