Our client, a stable and growing independent real estate office with a 25-year track record in the Cary, NC market, is looking for a driven senior real estate agent to join as a successor to the founder, who is preparing to transition out of day-to-day production. This is a rare opportunity to take over an established book of business, build on two and a half decades of client relationships, and grow into firm leadership over time.

• Serve as lead listing agent, personally generating and closing residential business
\n
• Convert leads from the company database, referrals, repeat clients, and internet marketing
\n
• Win new listings and manage client relationships through closing
\n
• Maintain and deepen relationships within a 25-year client database
\n
• Collaborate with the buyer specialist and support team
\n
• Gradually take on team leadership, operations, and ownership-related responsibilities
\n

Role split starts at approximately 80% production / 20% leadership, shifting toward leadership over time.

They're

\n

\n
• Active NC real estate license
\n
• 4+ years of successful residential sales experience
\n
• 100+ closed transactions
\n
• Proven success winning and managing listings
\n
• Strong communication, follow-up, and negotiation skills
\n
• Entrepreneurial mindset with genuine interest in eventually leading or owning a business
\n
• Professional presence representing an established, client-facing brand
\n

Brivity CRM, direct-mail lead generation, and company-covered overhead/marketing. ~50% of business comes from past clients and referrals.

\n

\n

\n

Flexible, with weekend availability as needed. First six months onsite noon–4 PM, Monday–Friday.

\n

\n

\n

$200K–$300K advertised annual earning potential. 50% commission split, $8K–$12K typical per sale, with ~$200K–$250K in firm-generated opportunity annually. Open to W-2 salaried, W-2 + commission, or 1099 commission-only.
