Position Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Position Summary
The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring appropriate nursing staff coverage to meet resident care needs. This role works closely with the Director of Nursing and Human Resources to coordinate schedules, monitor attendance, and maintain compliance with facility policies and staffing requirements.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Professional demeanor with patience, tact, and a positive attitude
Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain monthly nursing staff schedules to ensure proper coverage
Monitor daily attendance, tardiness, and absenteeism; report concerns to the Director of Nursing
Maintain accurate employee contact lists and staffing records
Coordinate staffing needs based on census, acuity, and budget guidelines
Process payroll-related tasks including timecard review, corrections, and approvals
Manage time-off requests in accordance with facility policies
Assist with onboarding, scheduling, and orientation of new nursing staff
Coordinate staffing adjustments for modified duty employees
Respond to staff scheduling inquiries and assist with shift coverage needs
Collaborate with nursing leadership to resolve scheduling issues and improve staffing efficiency
Maintain confidentiality of employee and resident information in compliance with regulations
Participate in meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives
Additional Responsibilities
Assist with recruitment efforts, including coordinating interviews and participating in CNA interviews as needed
Ensure timely communication of schedules and updates to staff
Support a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and quality care
Report safety concerns and follow all facility safety protocols

Annual Salary: $66,300.00 - $75,000.00 based on experience
