Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: ER RN Hours per Shift: Variable Experience: 0-1 year clinical nursing experience required License: Registered Nurse (RN) - State License required Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS Must-Have: - Associate's Degree in Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred - Familiarity with the principles and skills needed for practical nursing to provide patient care and treatment - Knowledge of the care required for respective age groups - Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information - Excellent verbal and communication skills - Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients

Description: Accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care. Responsible for the assessment of patients' clinical decision-making regarding nursing care. Assures nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner. Provides individualized nursing care. Evaluates nursing care for groups of patients. Maintains accurate, detailed reports and records. Administers medications to patients and monitors patients for reactions or side effects. Records patients' medical information and vital signs. Monitors, records, and reports symptoms or changes in patients' conditions. Consults and coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Modifies patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
