Contract | 12 Weeks | Days – 5:45 AM to 6:15 PM | Full-Time | Onsite | Projected Start: 07/27/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 6:1 patient ratio on a 45-bed unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Deliver wound care as part of routine patient management
• Document all patient care activities accurately using the MEDHOST EMR system
• Participate in floating to other units as required
• Adhere to unit scheduling expectations, including block scheduling when applicable; note that RTO blackout dates apply for 12/24–12/25

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Texas or compact state eligibility
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical, Telemetry, or Wound Care nursing
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with MEDHOST or similar EMR platforms
• Experience in a travel nursing capacity
• Familiarity with wound care protocols in an acute care setting
