Program Planning is integral to Lockheed Martin’s Program Management & Enterprise Performance. It organizes tasks for mission success, schedules design, development, and sustains product lifecycles. It breaks down products into tasks, sets sequences and durations, and ensures on‑time, in‑budget, and quality outcomes. Summary of Key Duties As a Senior Integrated Program Planner, you will lead the planning team for a Skunk Works® program. You will develop, maintain, and analyze program schedules, serve as a trusted advisor, and model planning excellence for the team. You will collaborate across engineering, procurement, contracts, business management, production, and quality control. Success depends on strong communication, collaboration, and expert use of planning tools. Qualifications Proficient with Microsoft Office applications Demonstrated critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities Experience developing and maintaining network schedules, including integrity checks, critical‑path analysis, and schedule risk analysis Experience delivering project briefings to internal and external customers Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) including cost/schedule integration Demonstrated team‑building, influencing, and relationship‑management skills Bachelor’s degree U.S. Citizen with an Active Secret Security Clearance (ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI clearance) Three or more years of professional experience in operational planning or scheduling Experience analyzing planning metrics and trends and implementing actionable improvement plans Desired Skills Degree in Construction Management, Program Management, or Business Administration Experience with networked schedules, integrity checks, and critical‑path methodology Experience with Schedule Performance Management Techniques, e.g., Earned Value Management Previous experience with Deltek OpenPlan Excellent communication and organizational skills Active Secret Security Clearance Experience as a planning team lead and/or contract planner Supplier integration experience, performance analysis, and corrective‑action recommendation skills Familiarity with risk and opportunity management, including identification, integration, and mitigation Deep knowledge of Deltek OpenPlan Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required. Location Palmdale, CA or Fort Worth, TX – choose the location that best suits you. Work Schedule On‑site full‑time. The schedule is 4x10‑hour days, 3 days off per week. Compensation and Benefits Annual base salary ranges from $77,700 to $154,905 depending on location.
