About the Role Let’s be clear: this is not an HR or People role . This is a talent acquisition role for someone who enjoys hiring at pace, partnering closely with the business, and helping build high-performing teams in a company that is growing quickly. At Fresha, we are looking for a Talent Specialist to join our Sydney office and help drive hiring across a business with real momentum, particularly as we continue expanding across Southeast Asia and the wider Asia Pacific region . This role will suit someone who is energized by a busy hiring environment, comfortable managing multiple priorities at once, and motivated by the chance to make a visible commercial impact. What You’ll Do Manage end-to-end hiring across multiple live roles Partner closely with hiring managers to understand priorities and move searches forward Identify and engage strong talent quickly and effectively Keep candidate processes moving with pace and professionalism Balance urgency with quality, knowing when to move fast and when to go deeper Contribute to hiring efforts that support Fresha’s commercial growth across Southeast Asia and Asia Pacific Bring market insight, good instincts, and strong execution to every search Write and send compelling outreach messages to engage passive candidates Screen CVs, conduct intro calls, and assess candidate fit Coordinate interviews across multiple time zones and teams Maintain and update our ATS (we use Lever ) and support scheduling / admin Contribute to team projects including employer branding, candidate experience, and hiring events What We’re Looking For This role is likely to appeal to someone with a recruitment or talent acquisition background , ideally with experience in an agency or similarly high-output environment. There will be busy periods, shifting priorities, and times where speed matters, but this is not pressure for the sake of pressure. It is about building well, moving with intent, and hiring the right people to support meaningful growth. We work closely together in the Sydney office because it helps us move faster, stay aligned, and build stronger working relationships. What this role is not: This is not a generalist HR position. It is not focused on people operations or administration. It is not a remote role. Every job application received is reviewed manually by our talent team.
