Sr Software Engineer Contract to Hire Opportunities Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder Onsite position, candidates must be willing to commute to the office in Irvine, CA Position Overview We are looking for an experienced developer to join our team and build out a variety of cloud, data, and application development initiatives. Key Responsibilities Software Engineering Develop, maintain, and enhance applications and services using C# and .NET Build APIs, backend services, and integration layers Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions Cloud Engineering (Azure) Design, deploy, and manage cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure Work with Azure Functions, App Services, Logic Apps, Storage, Azure SQL, and monitoring tools Implement automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure improvements Troubleshoot cloud performance, reliability, and security issues Data & Analytics Build and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models Develop or support Power BI/Tableau dashboards and data visualizations Use Python for automation, data processing, or integration tasks Support data pipelines and cloud-based analytics workflows Required Skills & Qualifications 4–5 years of professional experience in software development, cloud engineering, or a hybrid technical role Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core development Solid experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud architecture Strong SQL skills, including query optimization and data modeling Working knowledge of Python for scripting or automation Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools Understanding of API development, microservices, and integration patterns Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams Preferred Experience with DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines) Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep) Experience with event-driven architectures or messaging systems Exposure to data engineering or ETL processes Ability to mentor junior engineers or interns What We’re Looking For A well-rounded engineer who can contribute to both software development and cloud engineering Someone who enjoys solving complex problems and improving systems A proactive, curious professional who stays current with Azure and modern development practices A collaborative team member who can deliver reliable, high-quality solutions Pay Information Salary Range – 150-200k Hourly Rate: Comparable with the salary #J-18808-Ljbffr
