Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without noticeQualifications GuidelinesRequired: 2+ years of experience in all position flux core wire, fitting experience. Welds subject to UT weld testingRequires good communication, interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and follow instructions. Requires an eye for detail. Thorough knowledge and understanding of applicable operating and documentation procedures and material flow; Ability to meet deadlines; to understand and follow written and verbal instructions; Ability to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures; ability to accept constructive criticism; ability to prioritize, organize, solve problems, and complete tasks independently; ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with supervisors, members of management, vendors, and other employeesThis is a production classification and employees work indoors and outdoors (in all seasons) with exposure to noise, chemicals, heavy equipment and machinery. Accurate hand/eye coordination is required. Finger dexterity is required, as well as hand strength, with the ability to grasp, lift, push and pull. Work involves considerable climbing, twisting, bending, squatting and kneeling for long periods of time. May lift parts weighing up to 60 pounds and pull approximately 20 lbs. Need to have the ability to ascend and descent a ladder and/or scaffoldingWelder will have no more than 90 days to meet the Welder Test Criteria. For each welding process welders are required to pass two full penetration groove weld tests. This will be to a backing stripped, one inch thick, 45-degree groove in the flat and vertical positions. These will be radiographically tested and interpreted to AWS D14.1 criterionDuring the interview process the welder will take both a written test as well as perform physical welding skills which will be UT testedCompensation/BenefitsWe foster a collaborative team environment that values innovation and encourages creative solutions to drive positive organizational impact.
