Location: New York, NY (Flatiron office, 5 days per week; must be NYC-based)
Compensation: $175,000 - $200,000 + competitive equity
Employment Type: Full-time
Visa Sponsorship: Not available (US citizens and green card holders)
Basis started from the belief that AI agents would become integral to knowledge work, and that accounting (structured, high-stakes and essential to every business) would be among the first domains transformed. Three years in, Basis can complete a partnership tax workbook end to end, and accountants use it daily to create complex journal entries and debug reconciliations, with capabilities improving every month.
Basis has raised a $140M Series B.
The RoleBasis is hiring Deployment Intelligence Strategists (5-10 years) to own post-sale implementation and adoption of its AI platform at top accounting firms. You will bring strong customer empathy, process orientation and ideally some accounting background to a fast-growing team deploying real AI agents into the real economy.
What You Will Do- Own the customer journey from contract signing through pilot, implementation, training and ongoing adoption.
- Run workshops and training sessions that teach accounting firms to use Basis's AI agents.
- Troubleshoot issues and act as the primary project manager for each account.
- Translate customer business goals into agent workflows that transform how accounting gets done.
- Give Engineering constant product feedback from customer interactions.
- 5+ years in enterprise SaaS implementation, financial transformation or a related customer-facing role at a startup or mid-stage company
- Strong articulation, customer empathy and enterprise relationship management
- Process orientation and end-to-end management of complex platform implementations
- Based in NYC and able to work in the Flatiron office 5 days a week
- US work authorization without sponsorship
- Accounting fundamentals (QuickBooks, NetSuite, general ledger); a CPA or accounting background is a major plus
