Mortgage Loan Originator (Outside Sales) – Broker Platform Rockbrook Mortgage Inc. is an independent mortgage brokerage based in Omaha, Nebraska. We are looking to add a Mortgage Loan Officer who enjoys building relationships, educating clients, and developing a long-term referral-based mortgage business. This role is best suited for professionals who prefer independence, take pride in doing things the right way, and value a consultative approach to client service. Responsibilities Build relationships with homebuyers, homeowners, real estate professionals, and referral partners Educate clients on mortgage options including Conventional, FHA, VA, and other available programs including Non-QM and DSCR. Guide borrowers through the mortgage process from initial consultation through closing Collect application information and documentation needed for loan qualification Work with processing support and wholesale lending partners to move loans efficiently through underwriting and closing Maintain consistent communication with clients and referral partners throughout the loan process Conduct business with a high level of professionalism, ethical standards, and regulatory compliance Ideal Candidate This position tends to be a strong fit for someone who: Enjoys networking and developing long-term referral relationships Is comfortable working in an independent outside sales environment Takes a consultative approach to helping clients understand their financing options Values professionalism, responsiveness, and follow-through Wants to build a sustainable book of business over time Why the Broker Model At Rockbrook Mortgage, loan officers operate within a brokerage model that allows for greater flexibility in serving clients. Active licensing is preferred. Candidates who are not currently licensed but are willing to obtain NMLS licensing may be considered, and sponsorship may be available for the right candidate. Compensation Competitive commission-based compensation consistent with an outside sales position. Additional Notes This role is structured as an outside sales position.
