- Lead candidate sourcing and research efforts to fill skilled trades positions, ensuring a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Keep job postings up-to-date, ensuring they attract top talent in skilled trades recruiting.
- Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and negotiating job offers for skilled trades roles.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their skilled trades recruiting needs and achieve hiring goals.
- Share industry knowledge and updates with the team to maintain VIP Staffing's competitive edge in skilled trades recruiting.
- Handle payroll processing on a weekly basis with precision and efficiency.
- Conduct in-depth interviews, craft impactful resumes, run background checks, verify work authorization via I9 E-Verify, and manage employee drug screening.
- At least 3 years of experience specializing in skilled trades recruiting and staffing.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, are essential for a Senior Skilled Trades Recruiter.
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive interviews to identify top skilled trades talent.
- Expert phone screening abilities to ensure no detail is overlooked in skilled trades recruiting.
- Professional email communication skills, with an understanding of business etiquette.
- Excellent customer service skills, ensuring every interaction is a positive experience.
- Ability to create persuasive resumes that effectively represent skilled trades candidates.
- Familiarity with Avionte Bold software is a plus for skilled trades recruiting efficiency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
