Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conducting cycle counts completely and accurately per schedules provided. Straightening merchandise so that it can be easily picked.
• Updating and printing the initial cycle count report to verify accuracy.
• Audit and correct bin discrepancies resulting from picking orders, putaway errors, lost merchandise, and/or pilferage.
• Investigate missing items and report losses and trends to management
• Fill out discrepancy sheets for issues found that can be fully traced
• Turning in both the Cycle Count Report and Discrepancy Sheets to the Cycle Count Lead

Education, Experience and Other Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma; College degree preferred
• Years of experience: Minimum of two years of inventory control and/or cycle counting experience or equivalent combination of education and warehouse operations experience, preferred.
• Valid Driver's license preferred
• Knowledge of Inventory Management preferred
• Knowledge of basic computer skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook, and RF Scanning.
• Understanding of general work practices in warehousing and distribution, including order picking, packing, and shipping processes and procedures.
• Dedicated to business and willing to adjust schedule and hours as needed to manage department

Essential Functions of the Position:

• Performing tasks in a standing position for extended periods of time.
• Repetitive movements.
• Able to stand, reach, bend, push and pull bulky material for the entire shift and capable of lifting 50-70 lbs. frequently
• Unafraid of Heights- potential height of 27.5 ft on equipment
• Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job.
