A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is sought to provide dedicated 1:1 behavioral support in a structured group home environment located in Oceanside, CA. This part-time contract role offers approximately 15 hours per week, focusing on working closely with an individual with high behavioral needs who benefits from consistent, skilled intervention.
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) with fidelity
- Provide consistent 1:1 ABA-based support during daily routines and community activities
- Collect accurate data on target behaviors and skill acquisition goals
- Utilize approved crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies
- Assist with life skills development, including hygiene, communication, social interaction, and daily living tasks
- Collaborate with supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and residential staff
- Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (required)
- Experience supporting individuals with high behavioral needs
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and behavior reduction techniques
- Comfortable implementing crisis prevention and intervention methods
- Reliable, patient, and professional demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to documentation protocols
- Approximately 15 hours per week with flexible scheduling options possibly available during afternoons, evenings, or weekends depending on client needs
- Consistent assignment working 1:1 with the same individual
- Located in Oceanside, California
