Practice Info Located at the South Lakeland office Focuses on high-quality primary care services Dedicated to the health and well-being of the elderly Part of a network with more than 20 locations throughout Central Florida Responsibilities Interview, examine, and diagnose patients during clinic visits Order appropriate diagnostic tests, interpret results, and communicate treatment options Review and maintain patients' records and medical histories in a timely fashion Perform minor surgical procedures such as wound care, suturing, joint aspirations and injections, and administering immunizations Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens Provide education and counseling to patients and their families Accurately record correct healthcare diagnoses to ensure correct billing Actively participate in monthly provider team meetings and performance reviews with the Medical Director Benefits Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(K) Retirement Plan Voluntary Short & Long-Term Disability Employer-Paid Life Insurance Accrued Paid Time Off, Floating Holidays, and Paid xmvmafu Major Holidays Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Requirements Required: Current Florida License (Full or ACN) or ability to obtain one Required: BLS certification Required: EMR experience Required: Primary Care Physician practice experience Required: Experience managing Medicare Advantage patients or Value-Based Care Preferred: Athena experience Preferred: Board Eligible/Board Certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine Preferred: Fully bilingual (English/Spanish)
