Material Handler

Job Description Location: Fremont, OH Pay: $20.06–$23.73/hour, based on experience Schedule: 12-hour, 2--3 straight night shift Join Amcor as a Material Handler and help keep materials moving safely and efficiently throughout our Fremont manufacturing operation. In this role, you’ll work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, operate material-handling equipment, and support production by making sure raw materials, supplies, and finished goods are where they need to be. What You’ll Do Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely Move, stage, and store raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products Supply production areas with the materials needed to keep operations running Use RF scanning equipment to complete inventory and product movements Organize warehouse racks and maintain accurate product labeling Perform cycle counts and support inventory accuracy Complete routine forklift inspections and battery changes Follow all safety, quality, GMP, and food-safety procedures What We’re Looking For Ability to safely perform forklift operator responsibilities Basic math and computer skills Strong organization, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Ability to complete Amcor Fremont forklift certification and Material Handling training Ability to stand on a stand‑up forklift for a 12.25-hour shift Ability to work in a hot manufacturing environment Benefits Medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, disability, and life insurance starting day one Dollar-for-dollar 401(k) match up to 8% Paid time off and holidays Tuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities OurExpectations We expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
