Senior Product Engineer - RF

About the Role: Analog Devices is seeking a senior product engineer to support the development of RF/microwave designs for Communications, Test & Measurement Instrumentation, Industrial, and Aerospace and Defense. In this role, you will lead complex electronic component development initiatives and qualification efforts for multiple product lines, applying your technical expertise to optimize production processes and guiding junior engineers. You’ll collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure product quality meets ADI’s high standards. Location: US, MA, Wilmington Key Responsibilities: Conduct analysis and testing to ensure product performance and reliability. Leverage strong knowledge and hands‑on experience in µWave/mmWave measurement techniques and test equipment. Provide product development expertise, leading system design, development, and implementation of new products from concept to launch. Lead qualification efforts for multiple product lines. Independently design and develop required test hardware from concept to production. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure product design meets customer needs and requirements. Create technical documentation such as test plans, product datasheets, and user guides. Independently evaluate, select, and modify standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. Maintain flexibility to work on a variety of projects with various levels of difficulty. Develop and maintain project work breakdown structures, schedules, and budgets. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Continuously improve product development processes and methodologies. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Minimum 5 years of work experience. Knowledge of basic analog RF and microwave electronics concepts. Strong knowledge of RF engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in CAD software (PCB layout tools, Cadence Allegro) and other relevant engineering tools. Strong time‑management and multi‑tasking skills. Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. Desired Skill Set: Experience using lab instruments. Coursework or exposure in Digital Signal Processing, Wireless Communication, Digital Communication, RF Systems, RF Circuits. Excellent analytical skills: critical thinking, problem‑solving, and data analysis. Familiarity with programming/scripting tools such as C, Python, LabVIEW (plus). Strong initiative and motivation in a challenging environment. Teamwork ability within multi‑discipline and multi‑cultural environments. Fast learner with strong technical and communication skills.
