Position Summary The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading and developing a team of multi-trade maintenance technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position provides hands-on technical leadership while driving safety, equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, continuous improvement, and workforce development. The Maintenance Supervisor works closely with Operations, Engineering, and Plant Leadership to maximize equipment uptime and support production goals. The position reports to the Maintenance Manager. Key Responsibilities Provide daily leadership, coaching, and development for maintenance personnel. Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA, LOTO, NFPA 70E, and company safety requirements. Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime. Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Monitor maintenance KPIs including uptime, PM compliance, downtime, labor utilization, and maintenance costs. Manage maintenance work orders, scheduling, backlog reduction, and CMMS utilization. Coordinate equipment installations, upgrades, and capital improvement projects. Develop and deliver technical and safety training programs. Partner with operations to support production schedules and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage spare parts inventory and cost control efforts.

Requirements

Qualifications, Education, and Experience Planning and organizational skills; strong communication; problem-solving ability; high-performance team leadership; attention to detail. PLC troubleshooting experience required. Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC knowledge preferred Electrical troubleshooting required. 5+ years industrial maintenance experience preferred. Prior maintenance leadership experience preferred. Multi-trade maintenance background preferred. Technical degree, apprenticeship, military technical experience, or related work experience preferred. Preferred Skills Industrial automation, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, mechanical drives, CMMS systems, reliability-focused maintenance, roll forming and stamping equipment experience.
