Sr. Telecom Engineer (Avaya/MS Teams)

Overview Job Title : Sr. Telecom Engineer (Avaya/MS Teams) Location : Arlington, VA Position Type : 6 month contract-to-hire Pay Range : $60-70/hr. (or higher/negotiable based on experience) Summary : Verigent's client is looking for a Sr. Telecom Engineer to support a enterprise-wide migration from Avaya on-prem to Microsoft Teams. The ideal candidate has deep experience in enterprise voice migrations, SIP-based architectures, and hybrid UC environments. Responsibilities Lead migration from Avaya on-prem to Microsoft Teams. Analyze and document existing enterprise voice environment (dial plans, call routing, SIP trunks, etc.). Design and implement Teams Voice architecture for enterprise users. Configure and support SBC integrations using Oracle Session Border Controllers. Support integration with NICE call recording platform. Develop migration strategies including cutover sequencing and rollback procedures. Troubleshoot SIP signaling, call routing, and end-to-end voice quality issues. Support post-migration stabilization and optimization of Teams Voice adoption. Qualifications 5+ years in enterprise voice/telephony engineering or UC architecture. Strong hands-on experience with Avaya platforms (Aura, Communication Manager, Session Manager, etc.). Experience deploying and supporting Microsoft Teams at enterprise scale. Deep understanding of SIP, VoIP, and hybrid voice architectures. Experience with Oracle SBCs or equivalent enterprise SBC platforms. Experience integrating enterprise voice systems with CRM and recording platforms. #J-18808-Ljbffr Verigent
